Just shows our adaptive nature. We have just become used to doing such things, that it becomes habitual. It's amazing with all the near misses that not a single accident actually happened. I want to see the footage over say a day, a week, or longer.
Are there any places this bad in London? I know personally I fly through the new bus one ways at Holborn and Piccadilly (until they closed it!).
I don't think our behaviour as peds in London is as bad at NY. NY is famous for it's 'I'm walking here' attitude.
