  • Hi Iiro, I am happy to ship to Finland - not a problem :)

Some shots here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/danburbridge/sets/72157624093272136/ but as you say - I am a bit lacking in shots of full bags on peoples backs :)

I will try and get some up asap,

    Dan

  • Hey Dan just got alerted to this thread by Balki—nice looking bags. I was in the market for a Mission Workshop Rummy but it looks like one of your numbers will do the job nicely.

Just wanted to ask, on your website your lady friend looks like she has purple webbing on her bag—is this an extra? Didn't see it on the list of tick boxes ;)

  • Cheers :)

The webbing that Rachel has on the black bag is actually red - the colours are a little off in that photo.

I am not currently charging extra for the different coloured webbing - but this is likely to have to change in the future unfortunately.

This post http://www.levrier.co.uk/?p=164 shows the colours of webbing available - alongside the ubiquitous Campag hat for colour reference :)

  • Thanks for my bag Dan, I've used it a few times now and it's much much better than the bag I was using before, which was stretched to the limit with the amount of stuff I had in it! It's really good to be able to cinch it down for lesser loads, and the strap arrangement is pretty flexible for that. All in all well chuffed, cheers

  • Dan, I was wondering if it's possible to attach an x-strap to my current bag? Or can it only be done
    During making it?

  • @Eightball - great to hear - its worth bearing in mind that the bag will bed in after a couple of weeks use as the liner softens slightly.

@Crumb - I can do - we have 2 options - just to stitch the attachment point on through both outer and liner - this could in theory compromise the waterproofness of the bag.
Alternatively I can remove the liner and add the attachment point on and then resew the liner in - this is a much bigger job obviously...

  • Thanks Dan—going to start putting some pennies away now.

  • Great bag, great seller! I saved some money and finally got my greyhound last week! really happy about it!

2 days ago, I found a bit of problem with the bag, a defect triglide and email Dan about it, without a fuss he replied and help me about it! even send a replacement for free right away! Problem solved today...Thank you so much Dan!

keep up the good job mate...

  • Just wondering if this is larger than a medium seagull black bag?
The greyhound's internal volume is 35l and seagull give their overall dimensions as 24" x 13.5" x 8.5".
Just not sure which is larger?

Only asking because I have a seagull and I find it too small. It also has no back padding.
Strongly considering one of your Levrier numbers.

  • Hmm - I'm not sure how Seagull measure there bags so its a little tricky to compare - looking at it I would guess that the Greyhound is closer in size to the Large Seagull bag (based on how they look in the photo's on peoples backs)

Do you have any shots of the interior of your bag with some "standard" sized items in it? I could then compare.

I also do a larger bag, the Deerhound

  • Such great names.
Ill send a photo over shortly with my seagull with pair of shoes and a large ringbinder inside.

    Thanks for the quick response

  • Really liking the look of these. The grey greyhound further up the page looks like a great buy.

  • How does the Greyhound come up on someone with broad shoulders - just moved on my Chrome because the strap was to tight for my liking. Anyone in Bristol with one i could try ?

  • Hi Winch,

Err I am in Bristol :) I can make the straps longer if you need - give me a shout.

Will do, working through until next weekend then have some days off so will PM closer the time. I thought you were in Bristol from an earlier post in this thread but didn't want to make the assumption !

  • Dan, do you do a laptop sleeve or something protective for computer whilst in t'Greyhound bag?

  • No, as i dont think i can really compete with the vast array of ones available - but i am happy if you want a specific pocket etc making for it.

  • no bother, just wondered, I guess as you say there are plenty out there - ta
