Tourney: Terrain Dur Bike Polo Tournament / 11 - 12 th June / Le Havre

Pierre Adrien and Fabrice from Broken legs (Rouen) are organising a great week end of polo in Le Havre the 11th and 12th of june. Here's the program:

Pierre Adrien is organising a two days tournament. It will take place on a court built on the seaside (or really near the seaside). This tournament takes place with the terrain dur exhibition so you guys will be able to see the whole show in Le Havre.

on Saturday 11th:

There will be a tournament featuring 12 teams (8 teams have to register on this forum or the french topic + 4 teams from rouen)
on Sunday 12th:
There will be an other tournament (yeahhh) featuring the same 12 teams + maybe another 4 teams coming just for sunday.

Each team registered for the whole week end (saturday + sunday) will be housed in a sport center in le Havre on saturday night.

yeah, le havre is a major ferry port after all.

Adrienne is right. I think the cheapest way is by taking the ferry.
here's an idea, if some of you want to come on friday, maybe you can take the dieppe - New heaven ferry, take the train or drive to rouen, play on our court on friday, have some beers friday night and then go to le havre by train or car (max 1 hour from Rouen) saturday morning for the week end.

Almost half that if you take the train to Portsmouth and take a ferry straight to Le Havre.

there's a Portsmouth-Le Havre ferry on friday at 8:30am or 11:00pm and return is on sunday at 5:00pm for 39£ (less if you are <25 I think)
