How strong would a rear wheel like that be? I'm tempted to build up a 16spoke vento rim but concerned it won't cope with London's famous potholes...

I have a set of Zonda 16HPW on my geared road bike, plenty strong as long as you keep in mind you're not on some BMX/downhill bike.

Just for the MTB haters ;)
Chinese Ti. Not in your face porn. But very clever. Can be run geared, SS, or with a belt. Was going to post in the Beltdrive thread, but thought I'd troll it out here.

Has a bit of an XCAD finish. But its only the first version. I just love the idea of coming up with your own drop-out solutions for your needs.
this is my new 29er i designed sent the drawings to china and had it built ,
i wanted a bike with short chainstays , as i like my bikes that way 417mm
i wanted loads of mud clearence I live in the uk it rains a lot at least 10mm between any part of a 2.4 tyre and any part of the frame
I wanted to be able to run std gears, hub gears SS and maybe even beltso this is the first version it rides really well nimble and fast climbs well

I cant help thinking I'd want a rear brake though.
Otherwise, I've allways loved it.
