Ah, I was behind you when we tried 2nd time for the blue slip and nearly ran up the back of you ;) . I had the Bianchi top on.
yeah, I remember your top, v.nice. Did you (or anyone) get blue slip? I had to slow for rider ahead slowing, I probably should've given a shout. All part of the learning process I guess.
Say hello next time if we're both there together.

Agreed, all part of the learning process. Don't think Hitler gave anyone the blue slip ;)
I was there with Clithereo cycle club so didn't think anyone off here would be there. We are going to try and book another group session and make sure all riders are of the same ability.

You will find it hard to get a group with same ability especially when people have not rode track before some people think they are good road riders then think they are automatic good track riders not so.

I think the cone slalom they setup on the straight was proof enough of that... major fail to complete that successfully on my part (not the only one either), very keen to get that sorted for future sessions.
didn't help when a few riders decided to ride laps and just go thru the middle of the slalom without any thought for other riders trying to get round the cones safely. I'd forgotten about that until just now...

Hello all that attended this. I dropped out last minute unfortunately. Have now however done 2 tasters, gotten my blue slip and am booked onto a skills improver on Friday to progress towards getting my pink slip. If anyone more opportunities for track time come up either as a space with your club or if anyone else is organising a session i would much appreciate it. I wanna try to get as much time on track as possible before October with the view toward possibly racing. Thanks
I was keeping a constant speed, I found the group was slowing down into the corners... terrifying for me being a big lad, on cold tyres... and not wanting to slide down the bank as demonstrated by a few others. (:
