looking forward to this, glad you were able to get another session you didn't think it was going to happen for a while!
out of interest mark what gear do you ride on the track?
-
• #15
It really depends what I am doing anything between 88 and 92 this was a cancelled slot so I took it hoping for more in the future
-
• #16
malaysian - did your chain hold up thru Leeds? hope u got it sorted
Kingcutter - thanks for organising once again, shame that one guy complained about the coaches - thought they were managing the large turnout well esp as some clearly weren't listening to instructions
Catch up Monday still? not sure if plans changed following Gareths bump, just glad he's ok and that driver will sort bike out.
-
• #17
bump? all ok?
KC - sorry again for getting that first exercise wrong, won't happen again!Think I did alright the rest of the session... Thanks for organising it, going to try and get the blue & pink slips sorted over next 2 weeks, may be a while before I get to do green and beyond though with them being once a month and working odd shifts.
rhb - yeah made it home, bike was making some awful noises, yet to attend to it but hopefully not done any damage. Let me know if you fancy that c2c ride at some point... also am off this weekend if you're free maybe you could show me some of the Lancashire hills?
-
• #18
driver pulled a right turn across on his way home...
glad you got back ok on it, c2c maybe for later in year, will mull it over. am racing next weekend so tour de lancs will have to wait also. catch up soon tho, lemme know which sessions you're going for your slips at.

Coffee fix guy got swiped by a BMW on his way home from the track, is that Gareth?
-
• #20
I was there. General consensus was that the coach was hard work and actually didn't 'coach'. From a beginners point of view he wasn't very encouraging. Still I had a great evening and enjoyed it a lot.
-

I thought the coach was pretty sound, you could tell he was the kind of guy you had to take with a pinch of salt... he directed me to one of the bins after the 10 second efforts, just smiled and winked at him ha.
It was a bit chaotic at one point, and at the end of the day he's there to make sure we all have fun and live to tell the tale.
Did the driver stop then? and is gareth alright? gutted about the bike, he was being so careful with it as well...
I'll let you know which sessions I'm heading over for rbh....
TimKodd, who were you? i was the fat lad in the old giant top (:
