  • Hello. I noticed that my single speed (fixed gear) fuji classic track, 'vibrates' when i push hard on the pedals. It doesn't matter which pedal....once i reach a normal speed and need to mantain it or accelerate, whenever I go to the 'strong' point of the circle (that is when the pedal is in front), i feel vibrations. I can't understand where it comes from.

At first I thought that were the straps, vibrating because of the wind. But it's not, it is something else. I also was thinking that the rim, under pressure, was bending towards the brake....but i get vibrations also if I stay sitting on the seat (and not standing up on the pedals)....so yes, i don't really need that energy for it to happen. And it has nothing to do with the speed of the wheel: the vibrations arrive whenever one of the two pedals is IN FRONT (that is, is not really combined with where the rim is rotating at the moment).

    what can i check ?
