  • what have you heard about that Andy? - they are going to find it difficult to enforce that I would have thought

I'm making assumptions based on this statement from LOCOG:

*"In order to protect the environment on the Box Hill Zig Zag, LOCOG ( organising committee), have been asked by the National Trust and Natural England to find ways of mitigating the potential damage to the habitat on that stretch.

Part of this has been to install a fence to secure this area and there will be some managed areas inside of this for spectators."

*In my view 'managed areas' mean entry will be for ticketholders only, as I can't see how else you'd manage it. I might be totally wrong of course.

Box Hill is owned by the National Trust (and the Zig Zag is a private road) and a Site of Special Scientific Interest so I can understand why they are keen to avoid damage. It does make you wonder why it was chosen as part of the road race course though.
