• not missing the point, just because I got tickets, doesn't mean that the amount of spleen venting doesn't get my goat, when I could just as easily not have got tickets, and been on the outside of the stadium looking in. I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have got so worked up in a daily mail manner over the system once I'd discovered that I hadn't got what I wanted. The system was, what the system was, get up in arms about it before the event, not after when you haven't benefited from it...

    andyp, with you on the preferential londoner aspect, but then the calls that its london centric, south eased bias, that the olympics is for the whole of the country/UK would ring jkust as loud... You'll never be able to please everyone and this system was never going to make it easier for people to deal with their disappointment..
