Changing the battery probably would increase the recording time, but I wouldn't recommend it - it is probably a non-standard shape, so you'll find it difficult to find one that fits.
It will take any type of MicroSD card. They are available in different classes (write speeds) and capacities. The speed of the card won't be much of an issue with this camera, as the resolution is quite low - you'll be able to get away with a cheap class 2 or class 4 card. It is worth going for an established brand imo (Sandisk or similar), as they have a significantly longer lifespan.
Ordered a cheaper head cam and need to get an SD card for it.

Spec is 'Supports MicroSD (TF) Card up to 16GB'.
As it's for commuting and writes over itself on a loop a 4 or 8 gig is enough for my needs, but I know there are different types. Any work better than others or any I should avoid / won't work with it?
Also the supplied battery is 'Powered by 3.7V 460mAh Li-ion Rechargeable battery'
Is it possible to extend the recording time by simply changing this to a higher rated mah AA Li-ion battery?
Cheers
