bits with bollards that you would have to slow down at ... got mugged at them and they just appeared out of nowhere

well lets see, as i understand it yall arent allowed to carry firearms over there. could be a fun project to design a saddle with taser electrodes in it, and some sort of remote control, alla those remote shock dog collars. position the electrodes at right around testicle level, let the guy take the bike, as he rides away, calmly push the button on the remote, smile and enjoy the carnage. kick him while he's down, get back on your bike, ride away.

So the thinking there is, if you can't shoot them dead for nicking your bike, simply taser the living shit out of their testicles with a purpose made, remote operated taser bike?

Mmmmmm riding along, remote rubs against coins/keys/general crap in pocket = me tasering myself in the balls = loose control of bike and disappear under bus = epic fail

no one said it was fool proof ;) but at least think of the joy youll give all the bystanders on your way out. I suppose you could rig up some sort of jet ski style safety cord so when YOU come off the bike, the system is armed, but while youre on it the system is disarmed, even if you press the button on accident.
