nah, the 'rabbit' one I used said that 46x16 produced one skid patch (which in my experience it does!) and that one says 8?
Unless 'im doing it wrong'!

48-16 gives 1
46-16 gives 8, I think you might've just put the numbers in wrong.the easiest way to do it is the simplification rule where you treat it as a fraction and the smallest number you get the cog size = the amount of skid patches.
ie -
46/16 = 23/8, giving 8 skid patches.
48/16 = 3/1, giving 1 patch. -

i got it, thanks u guys anyway.

i use sheldon for g.i.
i know 48/17 is 75ish, so i just work it out from there.....

• #719
ah I was running 48/16, and now, thanks to jun, 48/17.

[STRIKE]Don't know what time you get up Jun, but didn't want to wake you with a text.
I've got your chain whip here, but I'm going to be in meetings from about 11.30, probably till the end of the day...[/STRIKE]

What's the size of this?
It looks neato.
Don't take it badly. I know that 'tone' is difficult to get across in the written word but it was hardly a telling off, just a gentle pointer in the right direction. This little parochial sub-forum is much more relaxed and easy-going than the main Laandon forum, which can be a bear-pit at times.
I certainly know what it's like to offer stuff on this forum only to have no takers.
