My all time favourite Concorde colour Scheme the PDM team colours as ridden by Sean Kelly and Steven Rooks back in the late 80's.
This is a very fine example with a beautiful full Campag victory group which is in superb condition.
The frame is a Concorde Colombo using Falck tubing. Colombo was the lower end model and normally used Aelle tubing so I guess this Falck will be equivalent to that. It rides very well and is nice and light for a bike of this era.
Paint has a few nicks here and there although nothing major that will detract from the overall look. The only two worth mentioning are on the non drive side of the headlug and on the non drive side of the top tube, both are pictured in the photobucket link. Also worth mentioning paint wear around the seat bolt and where a frame fit pump has been fitted. You'll see by the pictures that these are not major points but just so you know exactly what you're getting.
The only other bad point is that the dropout adjuster on the non drive side is seized. Obviously it is not a problem but for the sake of honesty it is best you know.
All in all it is a fantastic little bike. Very retro, full Campag group and in team colours. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this little gem.
£325 posted or collection from ME12 is welcome.
