And had to loose my connection whilst trying to add:
I'm generally new to the idea of riding a fixed gear. Haven't got a bike yet, and looking very forward to the fun.

Hi
I have just moved here from Melbourne Australia
I unfortunately had to sell my road and fixed gear bikes before I left and am now in the market for a second hand fixed or single speed to get me started
If anyone has a bike they are selling hit me up - cheaper the better as money is an issue
P.S big thanks to the guys at Toyo bikes for putting me onto this site, had a great time at your opening last night, all the best

I'm a framebuilder living in Montreal right now. My lady just got accepted to a PhD program, so I am coming to London for a few years. Figured I would join now and try to meet some internet people that I might be able to ride with.
I will be bringing my 650b randonneur frame I built with me and as well as an IRO track frame that I have turned into a franken-cross bike for everyday riding and cross racing.
You might see me asking random questions about which neighborhoods are good to live in, I am coming with my 4 yr old son that is set to start school in September.

Hello ladies and gents. Just joined up in an effort to make a little headway on my newest obsession, a Viking framed fixed gear. Much to my dismay those frames are as rare as hen's teeth across the pond here in the states. Waiting out my time in the nursery to prove im not a troll, spammer, petulant child, or other form of forum terrorist. as soon as im allowed to post up some bike porn ill throw up some pics of my past projects.
Cheers!

It's frowned upon to post your own bikes in Bike Porn, even if you have sold it on and is now owned by someone else. I recommend posting in 'Readers' Wives' or 'Names and Faces' threads instead.

Also no need to wait to get out of the nursery period... Only applies if you want to start a new thread not add to an existing one.

Newbie here!
Signed up as I fancy building up a retro single speed to pootle about on, commuting and a little bit of relaxed road riding. I'm an MTBer at heart, but have recently been drawn to singlespeeds & old school road bikes.
I don't live in London, but my brother does - that must count for someting!?

Hi,
I just joined the forum as I'd like to build a fixie. I am very tall (6' 6"), and hope to find a large enough frame for sale on here!
Hi there!
New here, have no fixed gear yet, but soon and will hopefully learn to love it once I've got it - Never had one before.
I'm in the process of moving to Germany soon, so will not have the pleasure to enjoy the potholes here in Glasgow while being fixed...
Wanted to get one before flying over, but too late, so I'm ordering the parts in Germany...
