  • anyone had any experience with this frame?
weight, fee,l build quality any thing like that.
or could anyone suggest any alternative frames around the £250 mark

    Cheers guys

  • I Bought one recently but havent quite finished building it up yet.
It feels nice and looks to be good quality but I dont think it would fit a sprocket bigger than 39t which what ive got on for the time being as it just clears the stays. Also the extra bit of seat tube that sticks up from the frame means you cant put your seat too low.

  • yeah i might go for bmx gearing.
whats the sizing like true to normal or not?
im about 6ft 2 so as thinnking getting to 58cm
    cheers

  • Im 6ft 4 and i got the 55cm because id rather have the shorter headtube and a smaller bike so its easier to throw around. It did feel quite tall for a 55cm but i dont have anything similar to compare it too at the moment

  • hey man, im doing an order from america soon, if ur wanting a frame from there, then it will be cheaper for both of us to order together?

  • which site you ordering off maxtm?

  • er, shopcultur, but havnt got huge preference. Which one were u thinking about? Max.

  • i'm building up a medium at the moment.

if you get in contact with the guy who runs this (Andy) he can get you a frame for like £270 including shipping, which is a bit cheaper than tokyo fixed, but he will order it in from Deutschland, so it takes a bit longer. From America, before shipping, (which I guess will be around £50) http://www.iminusd.bigcartel.com/product/leader-mordecai-pre-order sell them for $340 which is like £210. With customs duty, and shipping, you are going to be paying well over what you can get one from here for- unless of course one of you is getting a fuck tonne of stuff from the US anyway, and you can somehow split customs and shipping so it works out less.

  • chinnny, where are you based? would love to see what the medium is like- gna be getting a new frame soon, so checking my options :)

  • I'm in hampstead/belsize park man, but i haven't even ridden it yet! still slowly buiding it up- it's my first fixed so it's not entirely trick orientated. if you just wanna see the physical size/standover etc, then you are very welcome to come try, but if you want to take it for a spin, it hasn't got a bb yet so no drivetrain... you can wait like a month/maybe less and it will be done.

  • having a bit of an issue with my chainline, but otherwise my 55 mordecai is built up. comes up quite small (i'm 5'11) which should be good for learning freestyle.

  • ah cool, I got a all city def wish on the way. should be arriving on thurs/ fri :)

Getting all my bits in preparation. :)

  • nice one, post a pic when youre done
