You do actually have to give some idea of what you're going to use it for and what kind of ride you're after. If it's for bike polo, that's one thing. A commuter bike, that's something else. If you want to impress on the track, different again. Do you want it to look good (and if so, good vintage or good modern). Some of these will be easier with a vintage frame, some not.
