I honestly stopped buying stuff from Freshtripe because their navigation thing was a real pain in the arse.
You have to go through a frankly twee and ridiculous convoluted search process which makes finding something like a set of chain ring bolts a tedious process. "Should I look in 'round bits' or should I look in 'shiny bits' ? - No, I will look on wiggle.com.

A massive +1. The first time i went on the website I thought it was a bit gimmicky and then ever since I thought it was a waste of time

Some one had a pair on a charge plug freestyler in the OTP bike thread or "freestyler we love her so"

I bought a pair of the raw ones a while ago for a mad max type rust bucket bike I'm still planning - they have a tiny bit of sweep (you can see it in the picture... see how the middle is slightly 'lifted up')

I seriously could not agree more. I've even emailed them to say how utterly infuriating it is but to no avail.

Yea i see that now,tbh i think they might feel a bit rigid, as apposed to curvier bar, have you ever ridden yours?
-
• #14
they are ugly and look really heavy. IMO

gusset open prison bars, just been bought.

probably a bit tricky since all they did is use those awful Apple software called iWeb.
really suck on a slighty slow connection.

i have a pair in black, alrite for a slow meander but if i got any speed i felt like they where just too short
-
• #18
Yea they do look quite short actually, which would have made it pointless buying these as I wanted wider bars. I think the open prison bars will be just right.
-
• #19
they are 38cm wide stock
really narrow -

Don't know about them bars (wouldn't fancy it myself) but just wanted to comment on freshtripe given they are getting some stick here, I used them a couple of times recently -regardless of their different style of product classification I found stuff I wanted there that I had not found elsewhere, And at a decent price. I bought it, they shipped it, I received it, no gripes. When I had questions the proprietor jamie younger responded quickly , helpfully and appropriately.

Their website is still pooh. If they improved that they may be able to use their excellent customer service skills on a few more punters...

I'm after some of these in black. Freshtripe don't appear to still have them available. Anyone got any?
I'm not sure what these are called all I know is they do them on www.freshstripe.co.uk . I remember someone posting them on here a while back either selling or had just bought a pair, just wondering if anyone knows where else sells them (freshstripe is out of stock) also what are they like to ride. I think I like the look of them only problem they look quite flat and I prefer bars with a bit of sweep, can'r really tell from the picture and have no idea what to type in a search!
Cheers,
Nick.
these.
