Very pretty cranks.. But damn that 130bcd.. Good luck though!

Thanks, theyre the best performing cranks Ive ever used, light and very stiff, just like any other high end track cranks I suppose! The 130mm bcd worried me when I got them but the 130bcd TA Chainrings are actually quite good, teeth are similar to sugino 75. Id buy one in 144bcd again, for the price they cant be beat

How much for the BB Only ??
If you are selling it let me know... -

Hey, dont think Ill split but Ill let you know.
do people actually not like 170mm? Dont see what the big deal is, its not gonna cause pedal strike, Im replacing them with 170mm, somehow people seem to think the 165mm is the standard for track, IDK
-
• #13
I don't think that is your problem. I think it's the 46mm chainline.
-
• #14
And the fact they are/were(?) on sale at Planet X for £60 (arms only).
-
• #15
still a good price when you count the bb and chainring and bolts. just not as good as it used to be.

I saw that, that just popped up, they never had it in stock before. They also have a miche crankset thats half the price most other places are selling.
The sugino messenger/rd2 is also 45/46mm unless you use the inner, its not a track crankset tho but seems very popular for fixed use.The Mavic Elipse track wheelset has a 46mm chainline..
hmm not sure how low I can go, planet x has the same BB on sale for 25euro, the chainring costs around 45euro, bolts 6euro, £60..
£100 would leave me with £83 maybe, after paypal fees and postage. -

I shouldnt have mentioned the 46mm, Im sure theres people that have used them for racing unaware of it!

Gonna keep them, mavic ellipse rear wheel is 210euro from CRC or wiggle and 46mm. Someone should mail planet x about that 165mm set as its possible it could be 42mm version. There was at least 4versions of the 130mm bcd alize crankset, road double, tandem, 42mm and 46mm track. There was also a previous 144bcd alize track. Mine has the same taper cutout as the tandem, the square shape is flat, ie. its not sitting on a corner, if u know what I mean.
I use dura ace road cranks on my trainer, the unbranded(FSA) chainring is dished 3-4mm inwards, costs 22euro delivered from ebay, only 48T available. never had problems but I wouldnt use it for racing when you want everything 100% rather than 99.5%
I can send a link to anyone who wants to buy one(im not the seller) -

what's the link?

Alright Colm you should probably get CRC to pricematch from somewhere cheaper like Total Cycling, or else buy directly from them. There are up North aswell
track version
170mm
130mm bcd
49T
used for 6 velodrome sessions
I used it with an Italian bottom bracket, selling with an unused 68mm English Token 103mm carbon shell, allu cups bb, retails for 25-35euro
reason Im selling is because they have a 46mm chainline, its the track version but for some reason doesnt have standard 42mm chainline.
Im probably changing to Sram Omniums.
it would be perfect with a goldtec 45mm chainline hub or Paul components(44m), theres a couple of other hubs with 44mm chainlines. I didnt notice any performance issues because of the chainline, they really are very stiff and Im a big guy, didnt notice any flex.
cranks are close to mint, a couple of light scratches on the none drive side. chainring shows no wear. used it with a new KMC 510HX and new dura ace 16T cog
£110 posted anywhere in EU/UK, other countries possible(online tracking and insurance), (Business Cycles were one of the last stockists, something like $250 for just the crankarms)
will try upload photos asap
