I am specifically looking for something that is 1/8th, all i can find are touring rings for compacts. If there is a BMX one available I would be interested. Also interested in the bash guard

  • Yes Rupert, I meant I have the polo guard and spider available For Sale if anyones interested... Need to give them a clean and have a better look at the condition before I give a price... But about £50 for both...

Rich, it's not a set if cranks, it's a spider made by Profile so you can mount 110bcd chainrings (like the polo guard) on profile cranks... Black version of this http://www.profileracing.com/estore2/index.php?productid=304

  • ChainReaction sent me some Easton EA30 flat bars today, but they we're oversized. If anyone's interested before i send them back for refund then let me know.

  • Snoops how much are you looking for the cranks?

  • @adam ha I'm selling too, wasn't taking the piss.

  • the fuck is that?

  • hello all, wanting a bit of advice on geometry.....

been enjoy using the gangsta for polo, but it seems to jack knife a hella lot when turning sharply.

having a new frame built up, and ive seen a few custom frames with people running forks with no rake, and im interested to know, if i wanted to run a fork with no rake (or close to) what is the optimum headtube angle to have?? (to acheive the tightest turning circle, and little to no jack knifing!)

also, a shorter a2c on the fork helps with manouverability as well right??

    thanks in advance

  • Look on one of the other threads, I think it is the Polo Bike mUpgrades thread, Colin from E'burg has a verry good post about trail and rake on there

  • Colin has written some stuff in the upgrades thread here. I'm sure he could answer any more specific questions you have to ask

  • Played my first ever day of freewheel polo yesterday.
Very strange, aching all over, not sure if I like it instantly but am going to give it a proper shot before I reject it.

Borrowing an Alu VISP with rear disk. Will put up some pics once I have 'altered' it.

  • Couldn't find the polo / tool lending thread ... does anyone have a jigsaw I can use? I need to cut a catflap in the back door - hopefully today. Will collect & return, natch.

  • i have one, if you want to do saw and usb tomorrow... text me and i'll take it to work.

  • I have a jigsaw in N16, a bit old and knackered but it works.

PM if you want to borrow.

  • I also have Avid Single Digit 7 rear brake and avid lever for sale if anyone is interested?

    £10 for the set up.

  • I also have brand new Gusset Open Prison chrome 3" risers for sale, bought these ages ago but never used them as the whole flat-bar trend dropped this season.

Brand new, uncut, shiny shiny £25

I also have some generic plastic bmx pedals for sale £10.

  • but never used them as the whole flat-bar trend dropped this season.
