The clear-out continues, although I think I'll regret selling this one. I've had it for quite a few years but never got around to building it up.
Seat tube is 62cm ctc 63.5 ctt top tube is 53.5 joint to joint, horizontal drops with internal spacing of 120mm.
531 tubes forks and stays. Paint work is a bit scuffed, its been touched up but being metal flake it will never match perfectly, its nice and light with good lugs. It comes with an old TA bottom bracket but no head set.
There is a sting in the tail however. I bought the frame via ebay from a seller, who was totally open about its dodgy provenance. At some point it had clearly been stolen as the frame number had been ground off. When it came into my possession it had already been ground some considerable time ago as demonstrated by the then rust on the ground area. BJ actually put their numbers on the fork stem as well and I've contacted Bob Jackson and the police and they have no record of the bike as stolen or missing.
I bought a laminated duplicate of the original BJ order card but that has disappeared somewhere in my paperwork. I'll pass it on when it eventually turns up although that could be years!
My position is that I've done enough to feel ok selling the frame and I will of course give the buyer a receipt. If you feel iffy on this then please just walk on by.
I don't really know what it should be worth so I'm asking £100.00 but you can certainly PM with offers if you feel its too high.
I'd much rather not post so dibs and PMs from London based forumengers willing to collect from Hackney or the ever so dead east beers.
If you are interested but not in London then PM me and if it doesn't sell locally then I'll post at the buyers expense.
Cheers all,
Ben
