    Cheers :-)
Funny you say that, Jem is my lecturer..

  • Testing an old Pentax MX with 24mm lens.. #1 is FP4, the rest Pan-F.

  • i'd like to know this too! (if you don't mind)

i love my contax but i'd never pay what they go for on ebay...

Too much probably, but it is supposed to be in good condition, and if I get on well with it, I can see it becoming a "take everywhere" camera.

Once it arrives I'll admit how much I paid for it.

  • I left my Contax TVS on a train in Argentina.. epic fail! To replace it now it's like 350 quid! Glad i've still got my Ricoh GR1v tho!

  • Once I get some money I'm gonna get a M6 and 50 f2... Been lusting after one for a age

  • Nice one sasmon.

    Shit Dave...no insurance blag?!

  • Yeah, but limited to a certain value because it wasn't new! Ended up using the money for something else!

  • ah fair enough! I'd settle with a Ricoh anyday.

  • I'm feeling the Ricoh love.
Been shooting quite a lot with my R1 and R10 recently.

  • On old tlr's like the lubitel and some voigtlanders the focus rings get worn and out of sync.

You can try to resync it by opening the back and putting in a roll of baking parchment or tracing paper so you can see the focus and then re aligning the two focussing rings to the appropriate place.

  • no, on mine the focus ring doesn't connect with the viewing ring :-)

  • Does it just have distances you have to guess on it? I have a voigtlander brilliant which only has a guessed focus and the viewing screen is a clear lens. It is great for taking photos in dark conditions, but a pain if it isn't accurate.

  • hey this is some stuff i posted on a lubitel 166U that was leant to me. all 4 pictures are from a trip to Barcalona... the place was teeming with fixed riders, especially girls... ok so i don't know how to upload an actual image instead of a URL, can anyone tell me?

  • can anyone recommend me some cheap-ish, decent, colour film thats readily available in shops?

  • the basic Fuji Superia colour films are fine and still widely available, but for the price you get them in shops, you can get better film online... you need today superjoe?

  • 7dayshop is really cheap and saves you lots in bulk buys. +1 for Fuji...Boots might even have a deal on at the moment I think if you're desperate?

  • not super desperate but have no way of buying online, i will go to boots and check out the prices, might be able to get a mate to buy online for me.
    cheers guys.

  • Give me a shout if you need, can always work something out if you want me to get some.

  • aw cheers :)
    may just do that.
