Sure it's 20.2 not 22.2?
Far as i know 22.2 is the common size for older bmxs as it's actually an imperial size, 7/8". -

It's for a 1981 Murray cruiser. A 22.2 won't fit apparently.

I know this is an old thread but I report.My PK RIPPER LOOPTAIL is from LONDON on 1997 to JAPAN.
One of my friend gave me.I tried to find someone got a same problem.
Fortunately, My friend could make a one-off seatpost.

you cant run a layback on a ripper , due to the frame being aluminium.
