different seat clamp area too.
Hard to tell from the angle of the photo but the Tourist looks to be much slacker geometry no?
There's actually more than one type of Tourist, there's shitload of NOS one in Copenhagen (and fairly common).

Just picked up a track frame - Awful powdercoat with decals - Badged up as a 531 carlton.
Track ends look like the ones on the raleigh team ones - With the drilled holes around the edge. Appears to be chrome under the powder. Bottom bracket shell has the 'cc' cutout that I have seen on other team Raleighs aswell. Can't locate serial number. Found a picture: Cutout/ends same as this:
(Mine doesen't have the twin plate fork)So - I know carlton and raleigh were one and the same at some point - Did they just re-badge/paint the same frames? Or might this have been not a carlton originally.

Does anyone know what this Carlton is? Carlton Clubman?
I asked for the frame number but it was just 4 digits, no prefix letter so not really sure of it's age either!

thats dead nice that, love the exposed chrome ends, keep it as it is. Take it shes running tubs, hence the bundle of them for when out and about.
guess what you have is the carlton equivilent, though with the CC cutout BB maybe it is a team track frame but maybe painted up in carlton colours for some special reason? Nice frames anyway.Christy- did you pay charity shop prices too? Did it come like that or have you already converted it from how you originally found it, you should put up some detailed photos of the lugs and clusters, someone will probably have some help for you.

^ I've done a bit of research and unearthed the serial number - Seems like for a while the 531 Raleigh's where built by Carlton at Worksop, Essentially the same bikes - Badged as Carlton's for the American market. Serial number put's it at 1974, built in Worksop. The only weird thing is it has a seperate number preceding the serial number '004' Which isn't mentioned at all in any of the raleigh serial listings i've found.

I bought it as a road bike it was fine to ride just new chain and pump the tyres and it ran fine, but i liked the size of the top tube so i converted it and will upload some photos tonight.

Anybody got a clue what model this is (if it has one). And anyone know how best to get/make replacement decals for the frame.
It's a Lapierre, probably made in Dijon and probably from the 1970s with Mafac brakes, Stonglight Cranks, Simplex gears, Cinelli bar+stem and Mavix MA2 rims. The rest is newer I think, although I don't know whether the older parts are even the originals.
Cheers
