• Just a typical lawyer's non-denial denial. He can't come out and claim the meeting never took place, because somebody will prove that it did, but he can try to create a public impression that it didn't by making the non-disprovable claim that his client has no recollection of it. The lawyer isn't lying because he is only reporting his client's claim, and nobody can prove that Lance is lying about his recollection without reading his mind. I'm sure he'll suddenly fabricate recollect crucial details of what was actually said at the meeting once somebody proves that he was definitely in attendance.
