Got my Dawes Super Galaxy rolling at last. Still can't shift between the two front rings but at least it's rolling and lookin a bit nicer than when I got it.

It is nice but you don't have to quote the pictures again, unless you're on a different page.

I'm gonna get the same finish on my 80's Raleigh Quadra, it'll be interesting to see what their brazing was like compared to your Dawes'. I have a Kona frame that has been blasted and clear coated and their welds were top notch.

Yeah, I put that chainset on coz the original was just so fugly. It's not even 9 speed compatible so I'm on the look out for a nice lookin triple. Can't get on with brooks saddles tho.

My advice would be to check it out before you get it done. Give it a bit of nitromors round the head tube and seat stay junction areas. Mine looks really shit close up.

is that a modern produced frame?
oh, and i always figured sheriff stars were more expensive than c-record cranks, but it appears you think differently... =)) -

Slightly ot, but could someone riding 7600 cranks measure the decal length for me?
Want to get some made. Cheers! -

Yes - Cinelli Super Corsa Pista. This one is a one-off colour though - bright lemon, though the photos don't show it well.

40.6 +/- 0.2 mm
Do you need an eps file of the logo ?
BTW, it's not a decal... ;-) -

Ah, super! Yeah, I want to polish them, Arantrek.
I know they're no decals, but I figured they'd probably know at the shop I'll go by.
But do let me know if you know the exact type/stuff used (or is it etched/lasered in?) -

Hi,
Building a single speed for my girlfriend. Question: looking at the piture, would you think the frame is slightly too big, or way too big? Once on it, she's fine, top tube / saddle position / stem length feel all good. Down tube could be shorter (it's a 51cm center to center) but I feel it's not so bad, and she reckons she could even raise the saddle a bit from what you see on the picture...
It's not finished anyway. I've put drops because that's all I had with 2 brake levers, but she wants risers, and I might need to find forks with longer rake, as there is a slight toe overlap she does not feel confortable with...
I really like this frame (bought on the forum), I hope ultimately she will adopt it. Really nice lug details, etc... If she feels it's good for her, then it will be powder coated dark blue...
Szia!

just to be sure im going to need to see a picture of your girlfriend on the bike.
if you look at the picture, especially with the first bike, its on a downward slope.
