lolz
I knew someone would say that..
Who ever said I'll turn it into a rat though? ;)
It's rusty enough already.Like I said, I already gave (a well known branded/'expensive') paint stripper a try.
The Nitromors only seems available as a spray here in NL too.
Stupid I hadn't thought of the wirebrush on drill though.. -

no brakes
also i wouldn't blow torch a frame, just in case of warping, melting etc

That looks like a good way of firing a bottle top at high speed towards you balls.

If it somewhat miraculously evaded the bottle cage, top tube and saddle...

^^Ed's bike?
Seriously tho, is that a hydrolic rear rim break?

Magura's have a massive following in continental Europe and have been extensively used for touring as they're virtually maintenance free and so easy to service. You can also run them using water instead of hydrolic fluid (Though Magura tehmselves advise against this).

My bike doesn't actually look as rat as I hoped it would, especially not when photographed.
The bit that looks ratty really is this
The paintwork needs a bit more patina but the whole bike looks like this anyway
Excuse the front wheel, I had a puncture this morning and put my spare wheel on, thought it might add to the rattiness but it doesn't. Also the stem needs painting black, only fitted it recently and wasn't sure if I'd like it.

Like your beater a lot, bmxed. Seatpost and saddle need a few years to catch up with the frame though.
