For Sale: £4 Posted - Custom Made Leather Chainstay Gaurds

Hi Guys,

A little while back now I made some custom leather chainstay gaurds which I sold on the forum. The response and feed-back was really good. I have produced a short run for sale. Can potentially do a few more if the interest exists.

Here is what they look like on a bike.

The guards are hand-made from leather and cut by hand to a guide with a sharp eye, and an even sharper pair of scissors!

To fix, just remove the backing tape and press it on a clean and grease free frame and enjoy!

From Left to Right. Remaining
2 x Mid Brown (24cm Long) (slightly smoother than the previous lighht brown which have sold)
2 x Darker Gloss Brown (25.5cm Long)
2 x Black and Pewter Embossed Leather
1 x Dark Brown (26cm Long)

They are cut to the same pattern as the velo orange ones, however the shorter ones have been modified to a very similar design.

Recieved my black and pewter today, really nice solid bit of leather and hides all the dings out of the frame from when my dawes was geard, cheers skelator.

hi mate I would say so, esp one which has been used, its a tiny bit lighter than a new honey brooks, but the mid brown leather is great! shoot me a pm if you fancy it

Dear Skelator, if I Paypaled you now for one would you be able to stick it in the post first class today so that I get it tomorrow? I'm building a bike as a Birthday present so I have a deadline!

I'm after one to match Brooks' darker brown, i.e. brown and not honey. Which would you recommend? I'd have said the 'darker gloss brown' from your photo, but I'm not so keen on the gloss bit.

mid brown would be a decent match imo. i can post it as soon as i recieve funds. pm me and we can sort out details and it will be posted asap for you mate
