I rode by it to. Whatever the story is, it cannot be good, because the spot where the bike was at was smack dab in the middle of the very long street between (I'm pretty sure) Middleton Rd and Arbutus St. Given the bike and car's location and the damage to the car, it would seem that the rider would have to have been hit directly from behind by someone going very fast (though depending on how fast the car was going the bike could have flown quite a distance too). That is, nothing the rider could have done about it.
Scary. Good thoughts and wishes for the rider. Fuck.
