Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out a lot of budget and bargain frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:
http://www.lfgss.com/thread53572.html
for details of what is available.
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

CHAS ROBERTS ROAD FRAME 1985 Reynolds 531 Pro
Seat Tube (ctt): 21.25in (54cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21in (53cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 48mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 Pro
This is a really cool Chas Roberts road frame built from Reynolds 531 Pro tubing (the lighter version of 531). It has a small dent to the down tube, hence the very reasonable price. The paint is generally very good except for a few areas where it is flaking, these could easily be rubbed down and retouched. It has vertical dropouts so is not suitable as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £145
TOWNSEND OLYMPIAN ROAD FRAME
Seat Tube (ctt): 63.5cm (25in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 70mm
This is a budget road frame which is in scruffy condition but would be ideal as a beater or cheap ride to work frame. The frame has no dents or dings or cracks and could with its horizontal dropouts be easily used as a fixed or sin gle speed conversion. SOLD
CARRERA ROAD FRAME 1990s Reynolds 501
Seat Tube (ctt): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 46mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 501
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This Carrera road frame from the early 1990s is in superb condition - there are just a few small marks to the paint and decals.. It would make a cool fixed or singlespeed conversion. £78
RALEIGH RRA ROAD FRAME Reynolds 531 double butted 1982
Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 53mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This Raleigh RRA road frame is in sound condition despite the paint being quite distressed. It could be used as is or be given a powder coat. It will make an excellent fixed or singlespeed conversion at an economical price. £69
NONAME 1970s ROAD FRAME
Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.75in (55.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 50mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing; Reynolds 531 double butted
This road frame from the early 1970s is very well built – and was obviously designed for road racing racing pure and simple. The fastback seat cluster is nicely executed. I do not know who built it but there are signs of several layers of paint so it may be possible to take off a layer or so at a time with paint stripper to find original decals. It will make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £73
RALEIGH CLASSIC ROAD FRAME 1984 Reynolds 531C
Seat Tube (ctt): 23.5in (59cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 60mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
This Raleigh Classic road frame from 1984 is in very good condition and will make it will make an excellent light touring bike or a very easy conversion to fixed or singlespeed. SOLD
WILIER TRIESTINA ROAD FRAME 1985
Seat Tube (ctc): 19.25in (49cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 20in (51cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Frame tubing: Columbus SLX
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Wilier Triestina are a very old established Italian framebuilder of road bikes – this frame dates from 1985. The paint has quite a number of marks but the chrome is generally excellent. However there is a dent to the down tube just above the BB shell which has been filled – its shown in one of the pics... It however is not a common frame and id really rather nice – and would make a very straightforward fixed or singlespeed conversion. SOLD
PEUGEOT 531 TRIATHLON ROAD FRAME c1989
Seat Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 50mm
This Peugeot Triathlon road frame built from Reynolds 531 tubing is in very good sound condition. It will make an ideal winter or trainer bike with gears - the vertical dropouts make it unsuitable for use as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £73
