JohnH the poloschlaeger.de mallets are ace. Phillip is going to start building them with ale poles and the head system is quite easily interchangeable. I have been writing to him asking for a capped version also. Cam too. If we get enough interest then it'll marry up two separate things for some of us. (poles / heads all built nicey nicey) And yes the heads last forever. I still have the original head i got in amsterdam.

He's not really interested in just sellling heads, and I don't think there is much interest in the complete mallets, I think it's just a couple of you guys.

As such there isn't really any advantage in getting the association involved, it's just going to cost you guys more, you are better of dealing with him directly.
