surely if he stored everything on outlook then it would still be there?
just the copy on the server would have been deleted. it wouldn't surprise me, and it shouldn't surprise you if orange have deleted all of his emails and his account if it was stated within the contract that you had to log in to their webmail every 230 days.
someone may be able to correct me on this, i'm not very good at this kind of thing!
