Make your life easier and get a freehub mtb hub and a single speed kit. Deore is pretty hard wearing kit, and cheap. Go for Hope pro 2 SS if you want zero dish for a stronger wheel. Sprockets are 3 quid each, everything can be serviced by any bike mechanic (especially deore), and the freehub internals are easier to replace if they fail.
