  • ^Nice.

*An image taken by the American Cindy Sherman in 1981 - and never used by the magazine Artforum of contemporary art that had commissioned it - has become the world's most expensive picture. The shot - a self-portrait called Untitled # 96, which shows a Sherman thirties lying on the floor of a kitchen - was sold for 3.89 million dollars during an auction at Christie that was held recently in New York. It is part of a series of 10 images - called "Centerfolds" - that it intended to draw attention to the stereotypes that accompany the role of women in newspapers, on TV and the big screen. *

Wouldn't have been more interesting to see a picture of the face of the buyer instead?

  • Green Eyed Monster?

  • Soon...

  • Gotta love Cav, what a character.

  • It's good to support a brit and that but personally – every time I hear Mr Cav chat, it makes be want Contador to wipe HTC off the tour. Steaky-drug-fiend or not.

  • Why?
He is who he is and doesn't try to hide it. Granted, he's not the sharpest knife, but then he doesn't need to be.
Aslong as the likes of Bertie still exist, cycling loses.

  • That's a bit ballsy from the Herald!

  • I know! I got the pic from KopTalk
btw I dont think he did it

  • The Stone forest of Yakutsk

Amazing they could pile up that much dirt in time.

I did not know about this, now I want to go there.
That is like one of the most beautiful things I've seen.

He lacks humility sometimes. And control of his emotions. I imagine he must be a tricky team mate. I totally agree that doesn't stop him being an incredible pro cyclist, and brilliant for cycling in general. He adds the right kind of controversy and drama to each tour.

Have you met him? He's a neighbour isn't he?
    ;)

  • 3 mud huts down.

  • Haha.

He keep the bikes in one.
