I always wondered why touring/ audax/ cyclotourists (that a real word?) carry spare spokes. now I know, carrying myself and pile of associated junk around on the rough roads of engaland I have snapped so many god damn spokes its untrue*
*always knew these skinny wheeled road bike things weren't up to the job.
