  • I think Easton EC90 slx are matt black like those above.
    Link.

  • and also worth as much as the complete bike.

  • yes very true, just wondering about specs of the forks so that i can search for others, sizes etc

  • Ok. But that wasn't what you asked. :)

Tried looking at the geo sheets?

  • Wound ups? Less rake like the ones in the photo. Again, quite £££ though.

  • thanks for the help guys, very new to bikes of any sort. only know them enough to know that the welding on my current forks is a piece of shit.

spotted a second hand set in the classifieds that looks ok

  • It's a shame it's not 1" threaded (the older model). I have some freshly painted NJS forks that I've no use for.

But if it's carbon your after take a look at the Alpina forks Ribble sell. They're tried n tested and half the price of Wound Ups.

  • was looking at the likes of theese on ebay,
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Alpina-Carbon-Aluminium-road-fork-1-1-8-/110686989063?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item19c5756b07

is all i need to know that i need 1 1/8 or do i need to know the steerer size :s

the ribble ones look pretty nice and are a good price i may invest in them if i cant get something secondhand.

    thanks miro!

  • Steerer length. You need to know it'll be long enough to go through the HT, spacers and stem.

Obviously be careful with used carbon forks. Ask the seller if they've been crashed. Then if when you get them they have signs of damage you can send them back.

Should be a nice light and comfy setup.

  • looks good with risers. I'm stuck between those and bullhorns.

  • ~~these ones?

    edit: nevermind

:D good effort none the less

  • Not a Fuji Track but my Fuji Feather...looks fair bit different now from the light blue OTP I purchased last year!

what stem is that? I like..

  • It's a old sturmey archer stem but branded as a Raleigh.

  • is that a 1 1/8? And would that fit in my 2010 Fuji classic?

Stem - Fuji Pro forged Alloy
Fork - Fuji 1 1/8" Custom Triple Butted CrMo

  • No, 1" threaded quill im afraid.

  • can anyone recommend a nice stem similiar that will fit? :)

  • You need an 1 1/8" ahead stem. Not a 1" quill stem.

    Google is your friend.

  • thanks for the advice:)

  • 2005 frame and forks. The cranks and seatpost remain as stock, everything else slowly replaced over time. Currently running Mavic open pros, a crappy Charge bucket saddle, Suntour calipers, Paul lever, Nitto stem and bars. Tough as nails, I love it to bits.

  • That's a well loved/used Fuji. Nice to see. I bet that's seen some miles.

  • Conventional thinking would say...

tilt yo saddle back, and your bars down (a bit) and you'll take some pressure off your wrists.

each to their own though. And whatever works, works. Nice bike.

  • Cheers. Agreed it may look slightly uncomfy, but it works for me (at the moment at least anyway).
