I've been following this thread, as I do, and the same dispute happens every change of season and I've gotta say I've been to every pub that has been used to date and the only thing that makes wests great is the people. Tramp beers at the special place at two in the morning with a group of keen westies would always be prefferable to a nice couch and a good choice of ales.
I know it's nice to have a good choice of food and be appreciated by the publican with deals and a space to park up but the bottom line is butts on bikes.
Stop bickering, don't always put Murts on the spot and enjoy the fact that you are spoilt for choice.
Oh and the sunny side of Chiswick bridge has another "Ship" that you could try but not technically West.
