It's currently running a fedora based Linux distrubution called Linpus, it served my fine for web browsing and using open office but if you want to run windows on it there are a bunch of guides explaining how to make a bootable USB drive so you can install windows/other operating systems on it.
The original charge broke so it comes with a brand new one.
