Giro 2011

Cav and Petacchi had a little chat in the final few km's of the stage yesterday, an the Italian seemed to give Cav a friendly pat on the back.

At about 1km to go, Cav's lead out seemed to melt and he took Petacchi's wheel instead.
Petacchi seemed to go a little earlier than usual, admittedly it was an uphill sprint, but could it be that Petacchi had offered to give Cav a little lead out to apologise for the stage 2 line infringement?

Just a thought...

I lke to think Patacchi would consult his fantasy team owners, before trying a stunt like that
