hard to tell, just know that many a race in cycling history wasn't won because the winner was the strongest... maybe we'll never know... it would be nice to have the TV interviews 'the flandriens' subtitled for English speaking people, Belgian tv-cycling commentator/specialist Michel Wuyts gets some quite frank quotes from former winners like Merckx, De Vlaeminck, Godefroot and others, also speaking of arrangements between riders in the final of a race, found that quite interesting
