Hi All,
I've finally faced the fact that I'm out of love with my old Evans so here it is for sale. I can bring it to East beers this week or next (after nine), and priority will go to people who can collect as I'd rather not have to post it, although I will if there are no local buyers.
Built for F. W. Evans before they turned into Evans the chain. I've been told that the wrap around seat stays show that it was built by Holdsworth but I can't verify that.
Size is 63cm centre to top
Butted 531 forks, tubes and stays.
Built for 27" wheels but will run 700c with deep drop brakes as shown in the built up image.
Nice and light for such a big frame.
Reasonable condition, few paint scrapes and chips which have been touched up with clear nail varnish. Price includes the no name head set. Rides nicely, typical seventies geometry.
