Very nice frame and a good price, too!
Perhaps you can look for logos in the frame tubes.
Easiest to find will be at the bottom end of the steerer tube, just above the fork crowm. There will be either a Columbus bird or Reynolds name.
In case of reynolds, you may be able to see it at the rom ide of the chain stays, front side of t/t and d/t, bottom of s/t. Something similar for Columbus. But that all depends on the paint type and thinkness. -

I'll check for sure tonight, 55/56 is from memory and I don't have it to hand to measure. I'm pretty sure it's not 58 though.

I've always wanted to invent a framebuilder ... Wally Staines or something. This could be my chance.
Could I view this tonight? Ideally before 5.30...

I need to sell this frame before Friday if possible. £175 if collected from Newington Green, N1. No postage on this one I'm afraid, I don't have any boxes or the time to acquire one/pack the frame this week.
Seat Tube: 56cm ctt
Top Tube: 56cm ctc
Seat Post size: 27.2mm
Rear dropout spacing: 120mm
BB threading: British
Detailed pics: https://picasaweb.google.com/wayneblenkin/Reynolds653TrackFrame#
This is an interesting track frame of unknown origin. I bought it as a full bike and was told it was built from Reynolds 653 tubing. Somebody has since suggested that it's Columbus, not 653, but I can't be sure either way. Whatever it is, it's a good frame for the price. The bolt in seat stays are a nice feature, as is the two-tone colour scheme. The rear track ends are Campagnolo stamped but the fork is stamped Columbus. The bottom bracket shell is by Everest. The lug-work is very nice. It is drilled for both front & rear brakes.
The condition is fine but really it would benefit from a re-spray. The enamel has started to show it's age with a cracking effect and there are quite a lot of small paint marks & light chips. There is a small area of rust (pictured) underneath the top tube but that's nothing to worry about. The frame is structurally perfect though and is a good, solid ride.
