Last one was the whirly-whirly bridge over the railway line at ladywell.

correctamundo. ladywell fields.
i already gave a bit of a clue at the bottom of the last page, but i shouldn't need to. its SO easy.
someone should have this by lunchtime. -
• #2179
I noticed the clue, I'm glad it was a clue and not my imagination.
-
• #2180
Now we just have to hope that the Dropout thread won't make tagging go completely out of fashion. :)
-
• #2181
well i thought i got it from the clue, but i don't know if it looks like that. and on google image search it doesn't seem to look like that. so i'll probably leave this 'easy' one to someone who knows it.

yeah, I just took a long shot and cycled to where I though it was and was wrong. Still, nice day to be out and about on a bike.
Not quite sure what makes this an "easy" one either! Unless... was it the runner-up for the 2009's "London's most unremarkable bridges, foot-ways and over-passses" award?
;)

It does look quite unremarkable, but i thought more people would know it... If i was in london atm i might've got this while taking my new jersey for a spin...

ok, maybe its not that easy. this route is used by lots cyclists so i thought it would be familiar to a few of you.

i just checked out my hunch. couldn't see this on the roads around there, but on the other hand i couldn't get at the inner workings.

Where was the spiral thing?
-
• #2187
If you mean the spiral bridge its in Ladywell Fields. Useful shortcut sometimes.

• #2189
Slooooow tagging weekend, does no-one know where this is?
-
• #2190
I think another clue might be in order, Robin.
-
• #2191
I think I know where it is, I'll pop over tomorrow morning and see if my suspicions are correct.
-

Harrumph. I cycled past this one this morning (even checked the tag on the light fitting as I dodged the broken glass) but rather assumed it would already have been got by now. No clues about the notorious neighbour yet...
Edit: hmmm, I am beginning to wonder if the location is so deeply unappealing to most folks that I might manage to ride over there fater work, get home, chuck a revising 6th former off the PC and upload photos before I head off to my 7pm meeting.
Pants. Got both photos but all hell broken loose at home.

Apologies for the gloom here - it's the bridge that carries the Brockley Path over the train line down through SE23 - sort of behind the Brockley Jack on the east side and Brenchley Gardens and the cemeteries on the west side.
Where are these weird doors then? Available on google streetview, where you may also glimpse a chap wearing a fluo tabard in a cage. -

Well done - location of previous?

Yes, thanks OmarLittle, his ninja edit makes me look thick but I actually can read :)

Absolutely no idea. Bollocks.

• #2198
+1. as usual.

'Two weird iron doors' or 'Man in fluroescent tabard in cage' aren't bringing up any google hits either. I'm so easily stumped...

In terms of clues, well, the name of the street makes it sound as though it ought to be in the furthest reaches of the north west London suburbs, but in fact it's about as central as they get. I think the street ran with liquor some time ago (early 19th Century?) when there was some sort of riot nearby.
Where was the last one? And a clue to the new one?
