The wheels I have are 700c - do you think 25c gyres would do to cut the inch gap?
-
• #15
Can anyone here tell me how to reduce the gap between front fork and tyre?
Photoshop

Cut the forks and weld them back up again. Or you could try putting a magnet in the bottom of the steerer

If you can find a 'gyre' it may well do the trick.
If you mean tyre: I'm not allowed on the internet any longer but I seem to remember something called Google. Alternatively, have you heard of 'calculators'? There may even be one on your computer...

Ted would be able to alter the forks for you for a price. If you are interested I'll pm you his number.

It would attract the rim closer to the crown of the fork. You'd want to remove the magnet when the wheel isn't being turned or the wheel would turn egg shaped
I really want to get the distance between my fork and wheel cut to a minimum. Unfortunately there isn't any bike shops in my area so I haven't got anyone to ask. Can anyone here tell me how to reduce the gap between front fork and tyre?
