  • 8:45, so we can get pizza ;)

  • I'm well up for organising a co ed tournament.

  • Hi ladies. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on polo gearing? Is 36: 22 a good gearing to start with? I usually ride 48:17 fixed. I'm pretty short tho (5''3) so should I get longish crank arms? What would you recommend?

  • thats is a good start. i ride 35:22 which perfect for me. i started on road gearing which was waack but still works innit.

  • 36x22 is really good to star with, I had 34x22 for the last 2 years

longish cranks are not really good for polo, as you need to be able to do tight turns and pedal strike is an issue.
for norm 165mm or 170mm will be the best

+1, if you're short you can afford to ride shorter cranks. i run 160s and im a short arse

  • If the Ladies Polo contingent are going to discuss hosting tournaments (and the like), then feel free to ask for any info/logistics stuff you may need from the LHBPA before/after Thursday.

I'd be happy to pass on any sponsor contacts/advice, setup LHBPA email addresses/whatever.

Basically, shout if you need anything, over and out.
