Do you know if Airlite did 32 hole rear hubs as well, trying to match a frot hub...

marty
they tended to do them in the British style of 32 front 40 rear (or in pairs of 28 holers, for racing I believe)./sticking my oar in

Thanks Skully, confirming my suspicions. I will have to look at a modern rear hub unless I can find something of an older style.

I didn't think you got 32h rears either... until I spotted these on Ebay a little while back.

Didn't win them though, don't think I even bid, were quite expensive in the end but they sure would've made for a much wider choice of rims. -

Hi, I have some British Hub Co. Airlite track hubs, on 27" wolber rims.
rear is flipflop. 40h. front 32H. little brake wear as recently handbuilt. Front hub has very nice omp wingnuts.
tyres are now on my JT, no tyres with these wheels.
The front wolber rim is 2mm thinner. front 20mm approx, rear 22mm approx.
They need a bit of a wash as they have been in my garage gathering dust.
they are correctly laced in the classic way 3x front and 4x rear.
