How long do you think NCIS and CSI programs will be able to get away with this kind of crap?
Surely 90% of the population know that it is impossible - do they watch it anyway? That's like going to voluntary stupid lessons.Have they started using a mouse yet?
I always notice when watching CSI etc that everything is done from the keyboard. -

Have they started using a mouse yet?
I always notice when watching CSI etc that everything is done from the keyboard. It's because they are 1337 tech people. Mice are for n00bz.

My favourite was in an episode of Spooks they shoved one of these
into a PCMCIA slot to read. What a processor? That magically stores information? or was it just meant to be a random "computer chip"? Either way the idea that you could read anything off it by shoving it into a PCMCIA is pretty tragic!

have you ever played the spooks drinking game? have a shot everytime someone has an earnest discussion alongside a river/on a bridge/near a body of water, someone puts on a fetching leather jacket, someone gets from one end of londons famous london to the the other by car and finds parking right outside wherever they need to be in 30 seconds or a cast member gets arbitrarily killed. good times.

Speaking of voluntary stupid lessons, I have a vivid memory from when I was a kid watching some kind of technology program that I think was presented by Carol Vorderman......... Anyway back to the point, on one program on the first of April they did a piece on how it was possible to get sky on your telly by pointing a golf umbrella at the sky with the pointy end that is meant to be stuck in the ground directed towards the telly to "beam" the signal into the telly! Cue little me running around all afternoon trying to receive sky via the medium of golf 'brollies.
In my defence I was young, innocent and was taken advantage of sniff

Must try that one, I have however played the Withnail and I drinking game where you match the protagonists drink for drink throughout the movie. Always bottled it at the lighter fluid scene however!

The best 'enhancement' is the one in enemy of the state (shown briefly in the clip) Where using cctv camera footage they then rotate the footage around the guy to see what's in his bag. FFS

Red-headed girl on my way home last night: sat bolt upright, over bumps and round corners.
Had her arms crossed for a bit, and I swear she was doing her hair at one point.
God knows how. -

Was she cycling?

Arms crossed as in riding no-handed?
