  • Purchased from Hilary Stone a while back for a project that I never got round to starting, much less finishing. The original description is here:

ALLIN FIXED WHEEL ROAD FRAME 1980
    Seat Tube (ctt): 52cm (20.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 53cm (21in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 50mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm

This Allin frame is really rather unusual - it was built as a fixed gear road frame with forward facing dropouts hence the lack of a gear hanger on the Campag rear dropout. It has been beautifully fillet brazed by Peter Cobb, Allin’s framebuilder - he obviously knew one of the weaknesses of fillet brazed frames and added a very neat reinforcing collar around the top of the seat tube.

This isn't quite correct - I think the spacing was 110mm rear at one point, but has been used 120mm (not by me) and so it's around 115mm but will space out to 120mm.

It cost me £95 so I'd like to get my money back but failing that, hopefully someone can give it a good home. It's a lovely frame.

Apologies for slightly less than great photos.
