Yes. Do it immediately.
The more people that flag PayPal, the better your collective chances of flagging up the fraud and getting him shut down and you refunded.
This is why you use PayPal for online transactions and why I recommend you do use them. For the protection the rare times it goes wrong.

Appreciate your support here velocio. Thanks.

I suggest anyone involved sends paypal an extra email, asking for them to investigate immediately instead of waiting 10 days for a "sellers response". He'll be away with the money by then.

Guys, I also lost my money for a TriSpoke wheel from markplaats.nl. He is probably on Facebook and a few guys on the pristine forum actually did business with him a few months ago. But most of the people are fucked up due to him. I think he took money of about 10 people from the forum. We (I) have his address, family phone numbers etc. A week ago, some guy from the forum said he would go to him, so we'll see what has happened. But watch out, seriously, most of the time he sells his stuff too cheap.

We must ensure that we don't tar the decent Dutch traders with the same brush as this twat.... I know a lot of people on here have had good dealings with some and there are some bargains to be had...... Unfortunately, that is the basis of the scam by him.....

I guess you're the one that PM'd me on this on the Pristine forum a while ago?
I've seen the fb link you put up on there, but from what I could remember it was not the guy. I thought it was a bit harsh to email all his friends and family about this, while you weren't really sure it was actually him. Did he/they ever get back to you on that? So, he sent me this photo saying it was him and his mate, and the frame I was hoping to receive...

Not from what I can remember, but it's been a while. Think he looked a bit older.
I'll ask a friend who came with me tomorrow. -

If it is the right guy, contacting his friends and family isnt harsh at all. This guy has a problem, he wants to earn money from trusting cyclists. If hes too much of a braindead idiot to find a job that he needs to try and scam people on bike forums, he needs help, its not a good way to be. Scam the wrong guy and he could get himself or his family into trouble (evidently).
Anyway ill be watching closely.

My funds have returned today, thank g-d for that cos my balance was down to £47!
Wish I had followed my initial instinct on this and avoided, but the frame I was offered was pure lustworthy!
ah well, all's well that ends well, and managed to sort another frame through the site that will arrive on wednesday.
Cheers VB for the heads up
