Help me pimp my brakes - brake upgrade (calipers / pads)

I used a pair back in the day, the Campy Only link is good for setting them up as they do work best if you run them loose (with the pads around 3 mm from the rim). I found they worked okay, but most dual pivot brakes are much better for modulation and stopping power. They certainly aren't dangerous.

I also used a pair back in the day and would agree with that. They worked fine.

They aren't as good as modern dual piot's but what component from 20 years ago is comparable to it's modern counterpart?
