I'm sure we all have loads of spare bits, maybe if people list things they need if and when they need them?
At the moment adam needs A 17T Freewheel cog if anyone has one? -

my front wheel is pretty pringled now, 2 spokes gone and a couple or so looking bent and dodgy...
is it worth getting a few new spokes and relacing them in with the old ones that are ok, or should i just scrap it? -
• #11
salvage it if possible surely? 2 spokes is only a couple quid. happy to true it if you can source the spokes, gimme a shout if so.
-
• #12
If you want those wheels off me then they're yours for £25ish & a fancy beer
-
• #13
If your skint then just the beer will do as a deposit if you need them now
-
• #14
what size are they rob?
-
• #15
26", they've got a 22t cog on the rear
-
• #16
tbh, they'd be perfect! will have to check bank account, but could i dibs them for now?
-
• #17
yeah mate, I'll drop them off when I'm back from Brighton, sort out the cash whenever
-
• #18
ooh, just thought, they're disc rims, no braking surface, fine if your grabbing adams frame but probably not so good on yours
-
• #19
can't afford new frame yet. is the braking surface 100% necessary, or just make braking smoother? (bearing in mind brake will mainly be for skidding about)

i have some bits of mallet head pipe (the thick blue stuff) that i'm never going to use. was going to stick them on the van and hide them somewhere in manc next time i'm across that way. where is the polo court?
-
• #21
sure it helps, you can try them & if they're no good then not keep them
court is here http://goo.gl/maps/8Az4

ooh, just thought, they're disc rims, no braking surface, fine if your grabbing adams frame but probably not so good on yours
hey aking you mentioned your want to play fixed, if still so, you can use these wheels for that. use the disc bolt holes (on the hub shell) to bolt on a Velosolo cog (kit includes some washers for the chainline iirc), or if your feeling hackish you can d.i.y. with any cog (Idris has some), some measurements and a drill.

anyone got any bmx cranks that i can borrow until early june, I have all the bits for my fixieskidda except cranks coming through in the next couple of days, 19mm axle, the chainring ive got is 48t splined but i think it works on normal bolt on jobbies too, don't wanna have to wait nearly 3 weeks to ride a bike with only 1 part missing

anyone know where i can ge a l/h hollowtech2 crank 175mm?
Threaded the pedal hole and had to put my cranks and bb onto my rockhopper so tempest is on hold again :(
Thought I would start a manchester version of the London Freecycle polo thread.
I have quite a few mallets that I am happy to give to anyone wanting to give polo a try? They may not be the best in the world, but the will do, and you can keep them.
Also I have a 700c 35c part worn Marathon plus with loads of tread and life still in it that I'd like to swap for something 26"?
